Took me a long time waiting for a source of inspiration, a surge of creativity, and flow of thoughts to come up with a new topic to write on! But while cleaning up my laptop of unwanted stuff i came across some old albums of pics that i had forgotten having clicked and going through them i was hit by nostalgia! Mabbe then i dint give much thought to them but now when i saw them...i feel i saw them in a whole new light! It was like those pics saying, 'let us talk!'
This pic was taken at the Kala Ghoda Festival,2010. I love colors. I cant tell you which is my favourite color. Even as a kid when i used to draw i would always use all colors in the box!! Monochrome describes Monotonous n Mundane. I love variety. defines the way i am. Itz Who i am!
The first complete punjabi meal i cooked a few years ago! (Chole-puri, Basundi, n Jeera Rice!)
I took down the recipe from mom and made everything on my own (right from chopping vegetable to the presentation!) I have really come a long way from then! There is nothing like the taste of food made by mom but still it makes her very happy to eat the meal cooked by her daughter, whose laziness and lack of interest in cooking once worried her no end!
This pic was taken at the grand wedding of my cousin sister like 5 years ago. My favourite occasion out of all is a Wedding! I always attend every wedding i am invited to! The rituals, the traditions, the joy in the air, the pomp and show..it's just so Beautiful! Every new thing/event in our life should be celebrated!
My Special Diwali Rangoli of 2011! I make only one rangoli every Diwali for there are 3 women in my family to compete over one patch :) Cant think of a Diwali without the colorful designs outside the house and without colorful diyas! It all adds to the festivity in a nation where almost everyone, irespective of the religions, participate in the festival!
Every picture not only captures the moment but also the memories! Such "Picturies" can bring back a lot of emotions! One way you can hold a part of your past close to yourself!
